was created to celebrate Black-owned restaurants, Black stories, and Black joy — all while making it easier (and more fun) to support the businesses that feed our communities.

Founded by two Black women who love food, culture, and a good moment outside, Clues & Culture was born from a simple idea...

What if exploring Atlanta’s Black-owned food scene felt intentional, joyful, and easy?

So, we built a curated experience.

Instead of endless Googling

or guessing where to eat, Clues & Culture designs thoughtful food routes through Atlanta neighborhoods. Guests follow playful clues, pick up pre-ordered food from Black-owned restaurants, and end the experience with a picnic moment designed for connection.

No luxury picnic setup. No pressure.

Just good food, good people, good energy.

This is about slowing down, showing up and pouring back into Black businesses, one bite at a time

How it works

Clues & Culture experiences are designed to be easy, flexible, and fun. Here’s how it goes:

1. Choose your Route

Select a curated route based on your vibe:

Couples
Friends
Families

Each route highlights Black-owned restaurants in a specific Atlanta neighborhood and is designed with pacing and portions in mind.

2. Get your Clues

Before your experience, you’ll receive:

Playful, story-driven clues
Pickup locations and start time
Tips for enjoying the route

No guessing. No stress. Just follow the clues.

3. Pick up the Food

You’ll stop by each featured restaurant to pick up your pre-ordered food.

A few things to know:

This is pickup only
You won’t dine inside the restaurants
Food is packaged to travel well

Each stop is intentional — no random placements.

4. Picnic & Enjoy

Your final stop is a designated picnic area (weather permitting), where you can enjoy your food and drinks all at once.

Bring:

Your own blanket
Your own utensils

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you’ll have the option to:

Use an indoor backup location, or
Take your food home for a cozy finish

Either way, the experience still works.
